Description: 2-row feed barley
Strengths:

Seebe is noted for its outstanding forage yields, and grain yields are 6-9% higher than Bridge in high scald areas. It has very good straw strength for a tall variety. Kernel weight is equal to Bridge and better than Harrington. Scald resistance superior to all registered 2-row varieties. Resistant to the surface-borne smuts.

Weaknesses: Susceptible to loose smut, common root rot and net blotch. Matures about 4 days later than Bridge. Rough awned.
