Strengths: Condor yields about 15% over Scout, is 1-2 days earlier maturing, has higher test weight, shorter stronger straw and threshes more easily than Scout. Resistant to stem rust and moderately resistant to common root rot. High feed efficiency and protein balance. It can replace all the wheat in a hog ration and some of the soybean meal.
Weaknesses: Susceptible to smuts, scald, septoria and net blotch. Rough awned.
