Characteristics   [Top]
Strengths: Up to 11% higher yielding than Condor in the drier areas of Alberta. Better digestible energy and protein than Condor, but not as high as Falcon. Phoenix is 2 days earlier maturing and has lighter kernel color than Condor.
Weaknesses: Disease resistance equal to Condor. Taller variety with weaker lodging resistance. Rough awned.
