Description: semi erect to erect growth habit with a medium fine stem flowers are predominately purple with less than 1% pale purple to white seed pods have one to four tight coils medium crown with a branched tap root medium maturity with quicker regrowth than Beaver after cutting excellent winter hardiness susceptible to bacterial wilt
Remarks: developed for the alfalfa growing areas of Northern Alberta and the Peace River region where bacterial wilt has not been a problem (Areas #4 and #5) suited to the alfalfa processing industry in these areas because of quick regrowth and excellent winter hardiness supported for licensing by the Alberta Forage Variety Committee
