Description: 2-row feed barley
Strengths: Grain yields are 8% higher than CDC Dolly, 10% higher in the black soil zone and 12% higher in the black/grey soil zone. Silage yields are as high or higher than those for AC Lacombe.
Weaknesses: Matures about 3 days later than CDC Dolly (similar to Seebe) and lodging is similar to CDC Dolly and Harrington. Kernel weight is between CDC Dolly and Harrington. It has good kernel plumpness in the black and grey soil zones, but poorer results in the brown soil zone. Rough awned. Resistance to loose smut and the surface-borne smuts. It has moderate resistance to net-form of net blotch, spot blotch and scald. MR/MS to spot-form of net blotch and common root rot.
