This calculator will estimate the contents of a round grain bin filled to various heights. Wheat and barley have adjustment factors built in to compensate for damp grain. Height of grain in the bin is measured to the line where the sloped grain touches the side of the bin. The calculator will estimate the volume of grain in the cone that forms above the point where the grain touches the bin sides. Results are given in Imperial (Canadian) and Winchester (American) bushels, commercial bushel equivalents and tonnes.
